O.R.E.O.

So tomorrow we are having a family BBQ and everyone loves chocolate! What does everyone love more than chocolate, Oreo's, right? So I put them both together in a cupcake.
These are chocolate cupcakes with Oreo cream filling and cream cheese frosting with Oreo garnish. The fun thing about these cupcakes is they are about 3x's bigger than a regular cupcake!
Ah, I love summer, isn't it sweat?

Banana Cupcakes

So, I had a ton of ripe bananas so instead of the old standard banana bread I thought I would venture out and try making cupcakes. These are very moist light cakes with cream cheese frosting with a cinnamon garnish.
According to my oldest and his friend these are the best cupcakes they have ever had.
Awe warm fuzzy.

Happy Birthday Connor

My very good friends son, Connor, turned 6 and for the past 3 years he has wanted Transformers for his birthday! LOL. So this year I was given the great honor to make his Transformers cake. The cake is Chocolate with oreo filling, and butter cream frosting. The cupcakes are white cake (per request of Connor!) with old fashioned butter cream frosting.

Butterflies

My sister had a work bbq, and needed me to make her some cupcakes, apparently there was a baking contest she wanted to enter my little butterflies in! This is what I came up with. Although I didn't win 1st place, because they were eaten before the judging could start, I enjoyed making these beautiful little cupcakes. These are a white cake with fresh raspberries baked in, old fashioned butter cream frosting and the butterfly is made with coconut fondant.

Kayla is 22!

Happy Birthday Kayla. One of my biggest fans asked if I would make her a cake for her 22nd birthday. But of course Miss Kayla! This is a chocolate cake with oreo cream filling and buttercream frosting. The fondant has a hint of vanilla and is of course colored in the coolest girliest colors I could come up with!
Hope you enjoy, Happy B-Day girl!

Happy 4th of July

My very good long time friends, Jim and Kathy, ordered this cake for their 4th of July celebration. The cake is a chocolate cake with white chocolate filling and fresh raspberries. The fondant is vanilla flavored and also has a butter cream frosting. I hope their holiday weekend is filled with family, fun, and lots of fireworks!
