Happy Easter!

Easter is coming so I had to celebrate with some spring colored cupcakes! I made these ones for my nieces and nephew, but had so many they also went to my mother-in-laws dental office to be shared by all. Totally yummy simple vanilla cupcakes, but I dare you to eat just one! Happy Easter everyone, God Bless!

Mango and Lime Cupcakes...

These little beauties were way fun to create! The cake is vanilla with a touch of lime and the frosting is fresh mango and lime whipped into a butter cream. Yum, right? They are super sweet but them mango is just absolutely amazing!

Banana Bread

There is nothing better than homemade banana bread. It smells so wonderful and tastes divine!

Irish Cupcakes...

What do you get when you put alcohol in cupcakes? These Guinness Stout cupcakes with Baileys Irish Cream frosting. They are mainly chocolate, but you can taste the alcohol in them! Interesting, and tasty.

Sweet Bread

This morning I wanted to do something different for the kids for breakfast. Something healthy and tasty...so I made this gorgeous apple cinnamon quick bread, and as you see we ate it piping hot with a touch of butter. It was a great way to start this beautiful spring day!

Peanut Butter Chip Cookies.

These cookies are my husbands favorite cookies of all time! I haven't baked for awhile so I decided I would take some to work for him to surprise him. And, it gave me something to do to scratch my baking itch. Hopefully he gets a chance to eat them while they are still warm.

Spring Bliss

And for my mom on her birthday, March 20, coconut cupcakes with coconut buttercream frosting. Mmmmm, the perfect spring time flavors and textures. We are having a big birthday party tomorrow for all our March birthdays (Mom, Leah and Tim) and what a sweet day it will be with all these sweet treats.

His and Hers Cakes

My big sister and her husband are having their birthdays this month. Leah on the 10th and Tim on the 16th. So what better way to celebrate with his and her's cakes. They basically look the same but hers is white ( Vegan carrot with cream cheese frosting) and his is Chocolate ( White cake with chocolate mousse filling and chocolate frosting). I hope they enjoy!

Giant Chocolate/Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

So I have always wanted to make those huge yummy cookies like real bakers do. Well, I figured it out, and they are so good. Chewy on the outside and soft on the inside, and look how big they are!

These cookies are chocolate/peanut butter chip cookies and they are very sweet.

My big boys are going to be so excited to eat them when they come home from school today. What a treat!
