Congrats to Tammy Reyes and her soon to be new baby boy! Tammy's mother Sheila ordered the cake and said that Tammy specifically wanted it to be very boy-ish...baseballs, footballs, basketballs, and bright bright colors! I hope she likes my version of a baby shower cake for a sporty baby boy. The first tier of the cake is a yellow cake and chocolate cake layer with raspberry cheese cake filling. The top tier is a white cake with raspberry cheese cake filling. It also has butter cream frosting and vanilla flavored fondant.

Happy Fathers Day!

For my Daddy the fisherman, Happy Father's Day! This is a triple chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse and butter cream frosting. All the details are fondant. We are also spending fathers day with my sisters in laws, so happy day Jerry and of course my wonderful husband, Jeremy!!! ( Jeremy preferred a chocolate pie, so that was on the menu also!) Love you guys.

Crafties Night

My mother goes to "Crafties" once a week with a group of friends, two of which had a birthday on Wednesday, so she asked me to make a cake! She requested a knitting cake, so this is what I came up with. The cake itself is chocolate with white chocolate filling and fresh strawberries, buttercream frosting and the fondant has a touch of coconut! From what I hear the cake was a hit!

Last Day of School

My 2nd grader had his end of the year birthday party celebration today at school. His teacher decided to celebrate everyones birthdays on the same day, which does sound way easier than on 21 different days! I originally only made the ones with the flowers, but felt bad after Keegan asked why they were "girly"! So I decided to make some baseballs too!
