Hippie Cake

A new client ordered a Hippie Cake for her 13 year old. The cake is a vanilla cake that I colored to look like tie die when they cut into it. The filling is a french vanilla and the fondant is also flavored in vanilla. 

Hopefully this cake will give our 13 year old the hippie hippie shakes!

Happy Birthday Jeron!

My son Jeron celebrated his 4th birthday on Aug. 10 and requested a Buzz Lightyear cake! He was so excited when I finished it, and said " I love my cake, momma!" Awe, don't I have the best kiddo's ever! 

The top tier of this cake is a spice cake with cheese cake filling and fresh blackberries. The bottom is a white cake with chocolate filling. I used an old fashioned buttercream frosting and fondant. Turned out pretty flavorful!

Chelsey's Butterflies...

Happy 23rd Birthday Chelsey! My big sis asked me to make this cake for her friend Chelsey, who's husband asked for a chocolate cake with coconut and it had to have orange, pink, and brown as the colors. So this is what I came up with. The cake is chocolate and has a coconut cream filling and coconut buttercream. The fondant is even flavored with coconut. All the flowers and butterflies are handmade. 

Hope she likes. The pictures really don't do this beautiful cake justice!
